The lamp was born from my love of wood turning. For me, working with solid wood is about enhancing the movement of the grain and the contrasts in the wood. My experience is that the simplest shapes frame the beauty of wood the best. Wood is the healthiest material we can use and only does good things for the planet if grown and soured the right way. Chimes is so simple and unfussy that you almost don’t see it. It lights up the important things and invites curiosity instead of yelling for attention.
